The Fourth

Happy 2nd Birthday my sweet nephew!

Some Fourth of July staples, coupled with Tyler's 2nd birthday decorations (courtesy of Janet)...

Noah experienced his first boat ride on the Fourth. The life jacket was a non-negotioable, and he handled it better than we had expected, although he had his moments of screaching while trying to yank it off! He liked watching the water swoosh by and the lull of the motor helped rock him to sleep. He fell asleep in his daddy's arms, and I held him tightly through the fireworks show, and afterwards, Papa (Steve) drove us back home through the dark waters.

We started our weekend with swimming with the Gourley's at Webster Groves' pool! Aiden had a blast, Noah had a pretty good time, but poor Reese was just not enjoying herself. She would have rather been shopping.
